Creative Strategist

Remote (United States) New York, NY

The College Board, the national educational organization, is conducting a search for a Creative Strategist to support digital product initiatives. This position is based in our New York City headquarters. Named by Fast Company as one of the most innovative education companies in 2015, the College Board is a mission-focused organization.

As a Creative Strategist, you will guide the strategy across various initiatives and develop user friendly interfaces for our audiences, students, and educators. You are a creative problem solver who identifies patterns across large systems, maintains sight of strategic priorities while diving into the details, and grounds big ideas in data. You react effectively to stakeholder feedback and research findings to enhance the efficacy of your design approach. At the same time, you can persuade stakeholders to act in favor of on-brand, user-centric design decisions, and demonstrate the impact of these decisions through thoughtful and compelling presentations and dialogue. The right fit for this role will be equally motivated to then collaborate in the execution of those ideas through design, prototyping, and delivering to meet deadlines.

While we work in a highly collaborative environment, we’re looking for someone who can also work independently, self-manage, and find ways and means to support our goals. If you are adaptable, service-oriented, and dedicated to being an advocate for our users through great design, then we want to work with you.
