Yahoo Creative Studios, Ad Creative organization is a team of experts that support a holistic solution set of creative across Yahoo's platforms. Ad Creative seeks new ways to innovate for brands by integrating new technologies to build multi-screen digital experiences. From pre-sales ideation to post-sales execution; the team supports everything in between including creative design, development, testing and implementation. The global, cross functional team protects and enables revenue while maintaining the integrity of the user experience across all Yahoo's brands.

About the Role

Ad Creative interns will be provided an opportunity to immediately contribute through key projects impacting our global teams such as Creative Best Practices, Analyzing Creative Performance, and Product Documentation. 

Throughout the internship, each intern will have a direct manager and will be given a work experience similar to current full-time employees.  This will include, but not be limited to, setting goals, attending meetings, communicating project status, collaborating with internal Builders, participating in 1:1s and creating presentations to management.  


The goal for each successful candidate will be to enhance skills in analytics, knowledge of digital advertising, understanding ad builds and formats , communication, and teamwork. Interns will be held accountable to their project goals, and will make an end-of-summer presentation regarding their experience and work completed. On the Ad Creative team, the intern may be responsible for:

  • Review Monthly Ad Performance to ensure accurate tracking and implementation
  • Assist Ad Solution Engineers and Ad Solutions Managers in their day-to-day workflow.
  • Help develop and clean up marketing collateral.
  • QA campaigns prior to launch and help troubleshoot issues.
  • Compile reporting and call out actionable insights.
  • Provide suggestions for improving operational processes and tools.
  • Complete one project (defined based on your skillset) and present the final product at the end of your internship.
  • Misc projects as they come up to help support the team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current or graduating student at an accredited college or university
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Data Studio, G Suite
  • Analytical and highly organized individual
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent project management and time management skills. 
  • Passion for the Internet, online marketing and advertising.

Preferable Qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile advertising, video advertising, web analytics.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, such as HTML and JavaScript (we are not looking for seasoned developers, just that you have a general understanding of code).
